National Theatre Connections 2022

The National Theatre Connections Festival is a celebration of young people, theatre- making and the importance of access to the arts. Each year the National Theatre commissions a collection of new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre‑makers of tomorrow.

Royal & Derngate hosts one of the largest and most diverse of the 29 local festivals that take place across the country.

The different groups will perform a host of exciting new plays, including Find A Partner by Miriam BattyeChat Back by David Judge, SuperGlue by Tim Crouch, Hunt by Fionnuala Kennedy, Cable Street by Lisa Goldman and Like There’s No Tomorrow created by Belgrade Young Company
with Justine Themen, Claire Procter and Liz Mytton.
