The National Theatre Connections Festival is a celebration of young people, theatre-making and the importance of access to the arts.

Each year the National Theatre commissions ten new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre‑makers of tomorrow. Royal & Derngate hosts one of the largest and most diverse of the 29 local festivals that take place across the country. 24 different groups will perform a host of exciting new plays.

Royal & Derngate’s Young Company will be performing a double bill of Witches Can’t Be Burned and Wind / Rush Generation(s) as part of the festival.
