The National Theatre Connections Festival is a celebration of young people, theatre- making and the importance of access to the arts. Each year the National Theatre commissions 10 new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre‑makers of tomorrow.
Royal & Derngate hosts one of the largest and most diverse of the 29 local festivals that take place across the country.
27 different groups will perform a host of exciting new plays, including Class by Ben Bailey and Lajaune Lincoln, The Sad Club by Luke Barnes, Flesh by Rob Drummond, Variations by Katie Hims, Salt by Dawn King and Chaos by Laura Lomas.
