Join us for the 12th annual Malcolm Arnold Festival Weekend, a weekend packed with orchestral concerts, recitals, interviews and other exciting events.
Highlights this year will include a performance of Arnold’s rarely played Harmonica Concerto by the brilliant young soloist Philip Achille and a major choral and orchestral work, The Return Of Odysseus, which will be played at the launch concert.
The weekend will also feature a recital of Arnold’s evocative songs by the ever popular Scottish soprano Claire Thompson and an interview with Dame Monica Mason, former Director of the Royal Ballet, on Arnold’s work as a ballet composer. The Festival will be launched by former MP and Classic FM presenter David Mellor, who has championed Sir Malcolm’s music for many years on his various radio programmes.
Weekend Tickets £15, Day Tickets £7.50 (Gala Concert Tickets must be purchased separately)
