In December we were thrilled to be able to announce a host of shows for 2021 marking the reopening of our theatres early in the new year. Sadly the current lockdown means we can no longer reopen in February as planned. Due to the uncertainty of when lockdown will end, and what tiers may follow, we are suspending all our planned live events until 31 March. While it’s heart-breaking to be in this situation again we understand the necessity, and our now delayed plans mean we are well underway making all the necessary changes to be able to welcome audiences back safely as soon as we are able.
If you had tickets booked for performances before 31 March, you should have heard from us directly that your show won’t go ahead as planned. Our teams are working tirelessly behind the scenes with our partners to reorganise performance dates for later in the year and we’ll be in touch with all existing bookers with further news as soon as possible. Please bear with us as rearrangements can take some time with many shows being part of national tours meaning months of dates and venues to reschedule. If you can, please avoid calling our Box Office at this time. If you have tickets for an event before 31 March and haven’t received an email from us today, please email [email protected] or read more info here.
Just before Christmas we were able to reopen Northampton Filmhouse for socially-distanced screenings. We had fantastic feedback from the audiences who attended, on both the experience of being back and all the safety measures in place. It was heartening to see how much joy the cinema being open brought to our communities; it helps us hold on and look forward to the day when our cinema and theatres will be buzzing with people once more.
We are ready for you!
