Celebrity photographer Lou Boileau will spend an evening sharing anecdotes and stories of his time behind the camera capturing some of the world’s best known faces.
Lou’s photographic commissions have taken him around the world, photographing assignments for clients such as the BBC, Barclays, Sky Arts, McLaren Motorsport and Bloomsbury, as well as many celebrity portraits.
With 8 portraits in the permanent collection at the National Portrait Gallery in London, his portfolio is an extensive mix including actors, racing drivers, and even nuns!
The event on Thursday 1 August at 7pm in the Underground studio at Royal & Derngate will not only be aimed at students, and those who have a passion for photography, but also for those who want to know how Lou’s images were created. It will cover the pitfalls of the industry and some survival tips for working in the constantly changing and technically challenging world of photography.
Following the presentation, broadcaster and journalist John Griff with hold a Q & A session.
Tickets are £12 each (£8 concessions) and can be reserved by calling 07817 385 780 or emailing [email protected], or you may buy on the evening of the event. Please note, tickets cannot be purchased directly through Royal & Derngate.
