Welcome to our 2018 season of home-grown Made in Northampton productions.

Our Fringe First award-winning Education, Education, Education returns in May, and then The Lovely Bones will be adapted by Bryony Lavery from Alice Sebold’s ground-breaking novel in September.

Joe Simpson’s memoir Touching The Void  is reimagined by David Greig in October and our Royal Christmas show will be The Worst Witch, based upon Jill Murphy’s much-loved series, whilst Julia Donaldson returns to our Underground Studio with The Everywhere Bear. 2017 Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro’s The Remains Of The Day, will conclude the season.

These productions will go on to tour to 85 venues across the UK after their world premieres here in Northampton.

We are also launching our Generate  showcase evenings for Northamptonshire artists to perform their new work in The Royal. These will complement the wide range of other ways that members of our community can Get Involved in the creative life of their local theatre.
