Foyer Activities

Throughout the run of Mog The Forgetful Cat, there will be foyer displays and activities for families to do themselves, including a reading room, dress up station and craft activities. Come along early or stay after the performance and have some fun together!

FREE Family Fun Drama Workshops

Book now for a fun drama workshop for all the family linked to Mog The Forgetful Cat led by actor, poet and physical theatre performer, Lauren Nicole Whitter. No drama experience is needed, just lots of enthusiasm and smiles!

Online Zoom Q&A with The Wardrobe Ensemble 

Thursday 9th June

11am-12 noon

Online Zoom Q&A Event with The Wardrobe Ensemble actors, Jesse Meadows and Robyn Sinclair, and Deputy Stage Manager, Hazel McDougall talking about the creative process involved in developing Mog The Forgetful Cat and answering questions about career pathways.

Aimed at students studying GCSEs, A Levels and in Higher Education who are interested in the methods used by this award-winning ensemble company and developing a career in the creative industries, including backstage roles.

This is a FREE online event, but places must be booked in advance in order to send out the Zoom link. A special discount ticket promo code for Mog The Forgetful Cat will also be sent out to anyone attending the Zoom Q&A.

Bringing Mog To Life! – Drama CPD Workshop for Primary Teachers

Join The Wardrobe Ensemble actor, Ben Vardy,  for a fun practical workshop exploring ways of using drama techniques to bring text to life. This workshop is a great way to end the week discovering new ways to engage students in unlocking language, characters and plot.

Aimed at all Primary School teachers, Teaching Assistants and Trainee Teachers.

Mog Adventure Project for Primary Schools

We are delighted to offer Primary Schools the opportunity to take part in a fun project where students can read the original story, take home their very own school Mog cat toy and share the adventures they go on through photographs, drawings and creative writing that will be displayed in the foyer at Royal & Derngate during the production run.

This project is aimed at KS1 & 2 students and is a great opportunity for creative writing and class reading for all abilities. A My Mog Adventure template and instructions, the Mog cat toy and Mog The Forgetful Cat book are supplied to participating schools as part of this project.
