Senior Producer

Salary: £37,000 per annum

You will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. You must have a passion for producing theatre in both the subsidised and commercial sector, a track record of championing artists, an interest in community engagement and a strong commitment to inclusivity, relevance and environmental responsibilities.

The Senior Producer will work with the Artistic Director to develop and deliver Royal & Derngate’s artistic vision both onstage and digitally, collaborating with the Arts, Creative Learning, Production and Technical Teams to manage personnel, prepare contracts, control budgets and line produce all Made in Northampton productions. The Senior Producer will become an integral part of our management team.

Producer (Community & Inclusion)

Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per annum

The Producer (Community and Inclusion) will have a passion for social inclusion, a talent for producing theatre, a track record of championing artists, an interest in community engagement and a strong commitment to inclusivity, relevance, and environmental responsibilities.

The post-holder will produce both professional and participatory projects from design to delivery; support fundraising; manage and develop strategic relationships with relevant external agencies; manage freelance staff and practitioners in achieving project objectives, encourage participants to find creative progression routes and establish pathways for participants and young people.

You will work across the organisation to deliver Royal & Derngate’s artistic vision by helping to create our People’s Panel and Creative Council and ensuring they are fully integrated into all the organisations work, to make sure access and inclusion lie at the heart of Royal & Derngate’s practice. You will also work alongside the Creative Learning Associate to ensure that local artists and companies are championed in the creation of their work.

Creative Learning Associate (CYP) 

Salary: £24,000 per annum

The Creative Learning Associate (CYP) is a key role within the Creative Learning team, working with the wider Arts team to develop and deliver high quality arts opportunities that follow our core values and the principles of the Arts Council’s ‘Let’s Create’ programme

You must be an experienced practitioner with a passion for creative engagement with children and young people. Have a track record of project management and delivery, supporting freelance artists and be committed to work with the Creative Learning Director to further develop Royal & Derngate’s participatory and pathway programmes.

Company Manager

Salary: £33,000 per annum

The Company Manager is a key role providing the link between the creatives and actors and our in-house team for our Made In Northampton productions.  They will manage the stage management team and the rehearsal process, including the touring of our productions. You must have proven stage management experience in a producing theatre, have excellent project management and organisational skills and be a great communicator.
